Delete your account
Alpha Match is operated by Alpha Zulu Group. Last updated 13 October 2026.
You can delete your Alpha Match account at any time, from the app or by
email. This page says how, what is deleted, and what we have to keep.
In the app
- Open Alpha Match and tap Menu, bottom right.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete for good.
If you pay for Plus or Premium, cancel the subscription first. Apple or
Google bills it, not us, and deleting your account does not stop it. On an
iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google
Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Without the app
Email [email protected]
with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address you sign
in with, or tell us that address, so we can find the account and check it is
yours. We may reply to that address to confirm before we delete anything. We
answer within thirty days, and then delete the account in the same way the
app does.
What happens next
- Straight away. Your profile leaves the app. Nobody can
see it, like it or message you. If you signed in with Apple, you can also
remove Alpha Match from your Apple Account: on your iPhone, open Settings,
tap your name, then Sign in with Apple.
- For 30 days. Your data is kept in case you change your
mind. Sign in again within 30 days and the account comes back as it
was.
- After 30 days. The account is erased and cannot be
recovered by anyone, including us.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, age, photos, video loop, chapters and answers.
- Your matches and conversations, including the messages you sent.
- Your likes, passes, dates, date reviews and event activity.
- Your hidden album and everything in it.
- Your verification selfie and the face template made from it.
- Your location and your discovery filters.
- Your phone number and email address, and your sign-in with Apple or Google.
- Your support requests and the screenshots you sent with them, and any data exports you asked for.
- Roses, boosts and any unused credits.
What is kept, and why
- Reports of harm, made by you or about you, and what our
moderators decided. Deleting an account must not erase what it was
reported for.
- Payment records: that a subscription or purchase
existed, as tax and accounting law requires. We never see your card.
- Blocks other people placed on you, so they stay
protected.
- Illegal content, if any was found, for 90 days, because
the law requires us to preserve it.
These are kept for as long as the law requires and no longer. They are
linked to an account number with no name, email or phone number left on
it.
If someone has reported your account and the report is still open, we wait
until it is closed before erasing your messages. Then they are erased as
normal.
